The reliable wins

  • First drafts of routine copy that a human then edits
  • Summarising long documents, calls and customer feedback
  • Answering repetitive customer questions with a reviewed knowledge base
  • Structuring data and spotting patterns in sales records

The traps

Publishing unedited output, replacing judgement in pricing or hiring, and buying tools before defining the task are the three fastest ways to waste money on AI.

AI is leverage on a process you already understand. It is not a substitute for having one.

A sensible starting point

Practical tip: Pick one task that eats more than three hours a week, run it through an AI workflow for a month, and measure the hours saved before you add a second.
